General Procedure

Application Requirements for GradDipT/MAT/PhD/etc.
  1. Complete application (online and hard copy as shown in the procedure above)
  2. Hold a Bachelor Degree or higher in any fields from an accredited university.
  3. Demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 700, TOEFL 500 or IELTS 5.5 for those non-native speakers who graduated in a university/college which medium of instruction is not English. (No worries for native speakers of English, Filipinos and Indians whose medium of instruction is English).
  4. Demonstrate an interest and commitment to the study of the teaching profession

Necessary Documents

  1. Original Transcript of Records (TOR) from your undergraduate school, stamped "granted as per request" (note: Any original TOR will be accepted for temporary verification, but you need to provide the original TOR from your alma mater with the exact words "granted as per request" long before your graduation. Any original documents sent to the main office in the Philippines will not return to you anymore, so you need to secure one copy for you.)
  2. Honorable dismissal from your previous undergraduate/graduate school.
  3. Three identical copies of your recent 2x2 photos.
  4. Three filled-out application forms

Registration

Students can register no less and more than 15 credits per trimester (2 trimesters for 8 months) as a package.  Late registrants will be considered irregular status whose courses and requirements are under the arrangement of the professors.


Program Schedule for Face-to-Face on special cases, like the Culminating Activity


Day/Time: 
Saturday and Sunday, 8:00-16:00 hrs.

Special classes will be arranged for those who cannot attend Saturdays, such as the Seventh-day Adventists.


Transfer of Credits

Credits earned from Graduate Diploma in Teaching Profession can be transferred to the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT), major in English. 

Graduate Credits from other colleges/universities may be transferred to MAT, provided:

  1. Up to a maximum of 12 units.
  2. Same subject title and/or description.
  3. Grade of 1.50 or better.
  4. Taken not more than five years ago.
Please take note that accreditation of previous units earned from other colleges/universities for transfer of credits applies only to MAT, and not to GradDipT.

Note:
  1. Temporary enrollment will be allowed for students who upon enrollment cannot comply with the above requirements.
  2. Foreign nationals (non-Filipinos) will follow the process of enrollment for foreign students. A certification from their respective embassy that they are Bachelor degree holders.

The SKPSC endeavor must prepare and update itself in all institutional requisites and pre-requisites in terms of the need to help totally transform the vast resources both human and material not only in the Province of Sultan Kudarat but also the nearby provinces through science and technology in order to provide a better life for our people in a community of peace, unity, equality and prosperity.
