BANGKOK, Thailand - Tension visibly escalated at the eve of the reading of the verdict on the dissolution case filed against the ruling People Power Party heading the present government. The two major airports remained closed; the return of normalization uncertain.

I managed to capture photos of the anti-government Peoples Alliance for Democracy (PAD) marching and the police securing their side with barriers of truck tires and barbed wire. Dr. Ramon Ricardo A. Roque, Deputy Secretary General at the House of Representatives, the highest career official in Congress, is scheduled to come to Bangkok by the first week of December 2008 to settle the issue at the embassy.  SKPSC-Bangkok team will be with him at the embassy.

Dr. Robert Galindez met with Dr. Usira, the President, and Board members of the Private School Teachers' Association of Thailand (PSTAT), one of the institutes recognized by the Teachers' Council of Thailand.  It was a fruitful meeting.  SKPSC-Bangkok is in the process of accreditation which will hopefully be done by next year.
