The PhD program of the International Academy of Management and Economics has been redesigned and reengineered to capture current global trends of world-class doctorate education.
I-AME combines focus group discussions with project-research based learning for its doctorate students emerging from different sectors of society. Its fundamental components go beyond the traditional lecture classroom sessions and case study series. It deals directly and personally on the individual future PhD student: his/her unique management personality, the business and industry he/she belongs to and caters specifically to the student’s main reason(s) on why he/she is taking up PhD studies.
The program is divided into 6 interrelated segments.
The first 2 segments deals with the essence of theoretical and conceptual disciplines enabling the PhD students to realize and improve their own individual management personalities using Management Philosophy and Business Law as the vehicles for academic and moral development.
Segment 3 starts the students venture into analytical and decisional learning by developing theories and principles in 4 functional areas of management.
Segment 4 and 5 requires the students to expand their theories in a global and strategic scenario using current International and Strategic Management concepts.
Segment 3, 4 and 5 are then collated using Segment 1& 2 as introductions for the development of Segment 6, the students’ final dissertation; all coming from a very flexible, cohesive and interrelated PhD curriculum.
